Far Southern Illinois Once Again Flooded
(Cairo, IL) — It’s becoming a regular problem in southern Illinois, too much rain leads to lots of local flooding. Emergency managers in Alexander County say they’re once again dealing with farm fields and rural roads that are underwater, and it could get worse. The Ohio River is at 50-feet and rising, managers say that’s when they start to see problems with levies and worry about breeches.
