Free lunch and learn on Navigating Public Transportation to be conducted by Rides Mass Transit in partnership with HSHS St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital
(NEWTON, IL) – On Friday, March 8, a free presentation and luncheon on Navigating Public Transportation will be conducted in Newton by Rides Mass Transit in partnership with HSHS St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital. This free event aims to educate attendees on the public transportation system with tips on how to use Rides Mass Transit in and around Jasper County. The event will be held at 11 a.m. at the Jasper County Senior Center at 904 W. Jourdan in Newton.
The transportation service is available to everyone, is safe and affordable, provides door to door service and is fully handicap accessible. Public transportation may be used for activities such as medical appointments, work, shopping and social activities.
Plan to attend this free presentation and luncheon to learn more about the public transportation service available to Jasper County residents. Registration is required; please RSVP to Jane Carroll at the Jasper County Senior Center at 618-783-3660.
