(Boston, MA) – A Boston police officer is being treated for non-life-threatening gunshot wounds. He was injured in an exchange of gunfire during an attempted traffic stop early this morning on Gerard Street in Roxbury. A second officer was not hurt. The suspect’s SUV fled the scene and was located a short time later a few blocks away. Police say the alleged shooter, a man in his 30’s is dead, and a firearm was recovered.
