Report: Rockies, Arenado Agree to $260 Million Contract
(Denver, Co) — The Colorado Rockies are reportedly locking up All-Star third baseman Nolan Arenado to an eight-year, 260 million-dollar contract. Sources say the agreement allows Arenado to opt out after three years. Arenado, who will turn 28 in April, was scheduled to become a free agent after the 2019 season. He led the National League in home runs last year with 38 while finishing third in MVP voting.
