Money On Its Way To Quincy Veterans Home

(Quincy, IL) — More money is on its way to the Quincy veterans home. Illinois’ comptroller released seven-million-dollars yesterday. The money is earmarked for renovations, but the plan is to eventually replace the home. The Quincy home became a focus for the state after a Legionnaires outbreak at the home killed 14 people and made dozens of others sick since 2015.
