Bloomington’s Minor League Hockey Team May Fold
(Bloomington, IL) — Bloomington’s city-owned coliseum could soon be more empty. The minor league hockey team that calls the coliseum home, the Central Illinois Flying Aces, this week withdrew from the United States Hockey League for next season. Team Vice President Zoran Rajcic says they’ve simply lost too much money to stay in business in Bloomington. There are six home games left to play this season.
