Report: WIU To Trim More Programs
(Macomb, IL) — About a week after Western Illinois University laid off 130 professors and other campus workers, the school is reportedly looking to make more cuts. WQAD TV last night reported that Western is considering dropping 11 programs. The list includes Spanish teacher education, a degree in nutrition, a degree in hospitality management, and several others. There are also a half-dozen or so other programs that may see changes.
