The new Disney-Marvel superheroine movie is this week’s top movie in the U.S. and Canada. “Captain Marvel” starring Oscar winner Brie Larson made 153-million-dollars in its debut weekend. That’s the biggest opening weekend of any movie in 2019 so far. Coming in second is “How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World,” which sold nearly 15-million-bucks worth of tickets. Rounding out the Top Five are “Tyler Perry’s A Madea Family Funeral,” “Lego Movie 2: The Second Part” and “Alita: Battle Angel.” The Oscar winner for Best Picture “Green Book” finished sixth.
