U.S Women’s Soccer Team Files Gender Discrimination Lawsuit against It’s Own Federation
(Los Angeles, CA) — Members of the U.S. women’s soccer team are making a stand for gender pay equality. They filed a lawsuit earlier this month against the U.S. Soccer Federation demanding they receive equal pay as the players on the men’s team receives.
The civil complaint filed comes just three months before the start of the World Cup. The list of 28 complainants includes star players Carli Lloyd, Alex Morgan and Rapinoe.
