Republican-Led Senate Rebukes Trump Over Border Emergency
(Washington, DC) — The Republican-led Senate is rebuking President Trump over his declaration of a national emergency at the southern border. Enough Republicans joined Democrats in passing a resolution of disapproval. The resolution recently passed the House and will now go to Trump’s desk. The President has promised to veto the measure.
