Quad Cities’ Rivers To Fall, Then Rise Again Later In Week
(Rock Island, IL) — The Quad Cities will see a bit of a drop on both the Mississippi and Rock rivers to start the week. But, forecasters say the rivers will rise again by the weekend. The National Weather Service is leaving a flood warning in effect for pretty much all of the Mississippi and Rock Rivers in western Illinois till further notice. The Mississippi River is expected to fall tomorrow to just under 16 feet, only to rise again by Sunday to almost 17-and-a-half feet.
