The first Land of Lincoln Honor Flight of 2019 will depart Abraham Lincoln Capital Airport on April 2nd. 83 veterans from area communities, including Charleston, Effingham, Dieterich, Kansas, Newton, Oblong, Paris, and Shelbyville will be on-board. The return to Springfield airport is planned at 9:30 p.m., and you’re encouraged to pack the airport and welcome the heroes home.
