Northwestern Student Allegedly Raped ‘Lifeless’ Woman
(Evanston, IL) — A Northwestern University pre-med student is out on bail after allegedly raping an unconscious woman on campus. Authorities say 20-year-old Scott Thomas committed criminal sexual assault last weekend when students leaving a campus library reportedly saw him assaulting an 18-year-old female student who “appeared lifeless.” That’s what prosecutors presented at a hearing on Wednesday, adding that when those students approached the woman was almost incoherent but could be heard saying stop. Camera footage showed the woman refusing Thomas several times after meeting him at a soccer party that night.
