(Chicago, IL) — Music star R. Kelly is expected back in court today to seek permission to leave the country even though he’s accused of sex crimes. The singer’s lawyer filed the motion requesting that he be allowed to fly to Dubai to perform three to five shows from April 17th to the 19th. A Cook County judge in Kelly’s aggravated criminal sexual abuse case ordered that he give up his passport. Kelly attorney Steve Greenberg says his client has serious financial problems and needs to perform to make money.
