The Effingham County Sheriff’s Department says a crash at the intersection of 2300th Street and 400th Avenue Saturday night claimed the life of 47-year-old Brandon Harmon, of Louisville. Harmon was southbound on 2300th Street behind a vehicle driven by 68-yearold Ivan Shamhart, of Wheeler. Harmon’s motorcycle struck the rear of Shamhart’s vehicle as it was turning left onto 400th Avenue. Harmon died at the scene.
