Free Diabetes Support Group at Horizon Health
(Paris, IL)—Horizon Health is offering a free monthly support group for individuals with diabetes.
The new Diabetes Support Group will meet Tuesday, April 16, from 10 to 11 am, in Conference Room B at Paris Community Hospital. Attendees are welcome to bring their families and friends.
“Patients are asking for this type of support group,” said Leighsa Cornwell, RN, certified diabetes educator and group facilitator. “We believe it will be a great resource for patients in our program and others who are looking for ways to cope with the frustrations that diabetes can create.”
The group will meet regularly the third Tuesday of each month at 10 am at the hospital. Each meeting will feature a different topic and guest speaker.
