(Newport, KY) — A teenage boy found by police in Kentucky is claiming he’s Timmothy Pitzen, an Illinois boy who disappeared in 2011. The boy told police in Newport he was able to escape his captors and run across a bridge into Kentucky. Pitzen disappeared when he was six-years-old. His mother was later found dead in Rockford, Illinois. According to a police report, the teen claims he was kidnapped by two men driving a Ford SUV with Wisconsin plates. The FBI is assisting in the investigation.
