U.S. Cigarette Sales Fall Sharply In March
(Undated) — Fewer Americans are smoking cigarettes. Figures out today show cigarette sales in this country fell eight-point-eight percent last month, compared to March of 2018. That follows an eight-percent drop in sales in February. Morgan Stanley says March was the 20th straight month cigarette sales are down in the U.S. Wall Street analysts worry that smokers are moving from tobacco to e-cigarettes.
