Winter Conditions Forecast This Week
(Undated) — A storm system is expected to bring winter-like conditions to parts of the Plains and Upper Midwest starting today. Forecasters say some areas could get up to two feet of snow. The worst of the storm is expected to stretch across Nebraska, South Dakota and Minnesota where blizzard warnings are likely. Wind gusts could reach 60 miles per hour, particularly in the plains. By Wednesday, temperatures in Denver could drop into the 20s. Tornadoes will be possible later in the week through the Mississippi and Ohio River valleys.
