Man Wrongfully Convicted Of Chicago Murder Sues
(Chicago, IL) — A man who was wrongfully convicted of murder as a teen is suing the city of Chicago and a former police detective. Robert Bouto claims ex-detective Reynaldo Guevara framed him for the killing of a man back in 1993. He spent close to 23 years in prison before Cook County prosecutors vacated his conviction last year. His attorney says there have been 19 convictions overturned related to Guevara cases.
