Navy Recruit Dies During Boot Camp

(Great Lakes, IL) — The Navy is releasing more information about a recruit who died during boot camp in Great Lakes, Illinois. A spokesperson says 18-year-old Kelsey Nobles of Mobile, Alabama died Tuesday after she went into cardiac arrest and collapsed at the Navy Recruit Training Center. The Navy is investigating the death. It’s the second death in recent months at the boot camp.
