(Charlotte, NC) — Police say UNC Charlotte is secure after a shooting that left two people dead and several others injured. The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department says one person is in custody in connection to the shooting. It added there’s no reason to believe anyone else is involved. Media reports say the person who was taken into custody is a student. There’s no word on the motive behind the attack.
