Fayette County has been added to a current Tornado watch in effect until 3am tonight. Here is an update from the National Weather Service Forecast in Lincoln:
6:20 pm Update: Strong to severe thunderstorms continue to move across east central Illinois near and east of the I-57 corridor. These will be capable of producing winds over 60 mph at times, along with large hail. Some of the storms have previously shown rotation at times, so keep an eye out for the potential of a funnel cloud or tornado.
