CDC: E-Scooters Leading To Rise In Head Injuries
(Washington, DC) — The popularity of e-scooters is causing a rise in head injuries. A new report from the CDC says there’s been a surge in emergency room visits for fractures, dislocations and head trauma since electric scooters have become widespread. The report says head injuries top the list of accidents involving e-scooters. The study determined that many e-scooter injuries could have been prevented if riders wore helmets and were more careful around cars.
