Five Dead In I-57 Crash Near Marion
(Marion, IL) — Authorities are confirming five deaths in a crash near the West Frankfort exit on I-57 northbound. The two-vehicle crash involving an SUV and a semi happened yesterday afternoon. Early investigations indicate the semi was rear-ended by the SUV. Authorities didn’t identify how many victims were in each vehicle. An additional victim was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
