Stellar Student Receives 400K In Scholarship Offers, Chooses UI
(Champaign, IL) — A stellar student at Centennial High School in Champaign is staying close to home for college after receiving 400-thousand dollars in scholarship offers. Diamond Walker accepted a full ride to U of I yesterday after getting accepted by 56 of the 60 schools she applied to. Walker will graduate from high school a year early on May 28th and will begin studying at U of I in the fall as the first person in her family to attend college. She plans to double major in political science and public policy and law with a pre-professional in pre-law.
