Illinois Secretary Of State To Highlight Move Over Law
(Springfield, IL) — The point of the new campaign to highlight Illinois’ Move Over law is to make sure you see it. IllinoisSecretary of State Jesse White yesterday announced plans to make sure drivers know to get out of the way for police officers and other workers along the side of the road. White yesterday said he’s going to add a question about the Move Over law to the Illinoisdriver’s test, include a reminder about the law on registration and driver’s license renewal postcards, and add pamphlets to every Secretary of State office in Illinois. The push comes after three State Troopers died in wrecks on the side of the road this year.
