SIU Panel Begins Presidential Search
(Carbondale, IL) — A Southern Illinois University panel is beginning the search for the school’s next president. The 27-member committee met for the first time yesterday to set a calendar for the process. The committee will spend the next three months passing on ten to 12 candidates to the Board of Trustees. Standouts will begin to be interviewed by late September, with a final choice to be made by the end of the calendar year.
