(Undated) — The U.S. Justice Department is sending a former CIA officer to prison for 20 years after he disclosed military secrets to China. The Department says 62-year-old Kevin Mallory, of Leesburg, Virginia, used his top-level security and access to sell secrets to the communist nation for 25-thousand dollars. Trial evidence showed him scanning classified documents onto a digital card as well as travels to Shanghai in March and April of 2017 for a meeting with a Chinese agent. Mallory worked as a covert case officer for the CIA and as an intelligence officer for the Defense Intelligence Agency.
