Tornado Watch has been put into effect for the following counties: Christian, Coles, Cumberland, De Witt, Douglas, Edgar, Effingham, Fayette, Moultrie, Piatt, Sangamon, Shelby, and Vermilion Counties.
The Tornado Watch will be in effect until 5:00 A.M. CST.
This is only a watch, a tornado has not been spotted yet, but expect heavy rainfall and severe thunderstorms through the night that may include damaging gusts, hail, and lightning. We’ll keep you updated right here and on-air!
