Illinois Man Gets 300 Years For Montana Girl’s Rape
(Deer Lodge, MT) — An Illinois man gets 300 years in prison for raping a Deer Lodge, Montana girl. Forty-seven-year-old Charles Michael Byrne of Warren, Illinois, was sentenced to three consecutive 100-year sentences, after a jury found him guilty of sexual intercourse with a child under age 12. On Friday the jury heard testimony from two other victims molested by Byrne in Illinois when they were six and eight. They said Byrne had been a family friend trusted by their parents.
