The state of Illinois has set 75 locations for marijuana dispensaries if recreational use becomes legal. The plan is for the locations to be licensed by May 1st, 2020. Some of the regions where dispensaries would be located include Bloomington, Champaign, Urbana, Chicago-Naperville-Elgin, Danville, Decatur, Peoria and Springfield.
