Tornado Touches Down Near Lincoln
(Lincoln, IL) — The National Weather Service says damage near Lincoln indicates that an EF-1 tornado swept through the area. The tornado had an estimated wind speed of 90 miles per hour and touched down just after midnight yesterday morning three miles northwest of Lincoln. Old Union Cemetery has been closed until further notice for storm damage cleanup.
