According to the Illinois State Police, 64-year-old Lawrence R. Gregory was southbound on Route 45 in Cumberland County at 2:39 this morning when his motorcycle left the roadway and came to a rest in the ditch. He was air-lifted to Carle Foundation Hospital. The cause of the accident is under investigation.
