Simon Pagenaud Wins Indianapolis 500
(Indianapolis, IN) — Simon Pagenaud [[ PAJ-eh-NOW ]] is the winner of the 103rd Indy 500 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. It’s his first career Indy 500 victory and the 18th for Team Penske, extending its all-time record. Pagenaud is also the first pole winner to capture “The Greatest Spectacle in Racing” since Helio Castroneves in 2009. Alexander Rossi finished second, just .2086 of a second behind. Takuma Sato, Josef Newgarden and Will Power rounded out the top-five.
