About 200 National Guard troops are being deployed as flood levels are expected to continue rising in much of the state. Governor J.B. Pritzker says the Guard members will help strengthen levees and build protective barriers. Another round of wet weather is expected to hit later this week, increasing flood levels around the Mississippi.
