Gas Tax Approved In State Senate
(Springfield, IL) — The gas tax in Illinois is going up. The Senate passed the motor-fuel tax increase yesterday in an overtime session. The tax was part of a nearly 40 billion dollar budget package. The gas tax is expected to raise over a million dollars to help fix Illinois infrastructure.
