DCFS Sees Largest Budget Increase In Decades
(Springfield, IL) — The Department of Children and Family Services is set to receive almost 130-million more in the next fiscal year. This is the largest budget increase in more than 20 years. The hike will allow DCFS to hire over 300 more front-line staff, like case workers and investigators.
