Child Hit By Car After Chasing Ball Into Road
(Loves Park, IL) — Police say a seven-year-old was hit by a car after chasing a ball into the road in Loves Park. Authorities say the child was hit by an 18-year-old driver in the 72-hundred block of Forest Hills Road Saturday afternoon. The child was taken to the hospital with serious, but non-life threatening injuries. The driver wasn’t ticketed.
