Kroger Is Recalling Frozen Berries Due To Potential Hepatitis A Contamination
(Undated) — Kroger is recalling frozen berries due to potential Hepatitis A contamination. The company said the FDA tested a sample of the store’s “Private Selection” brand berries and they tested positive for Hepatitis A. The products in question are the 16 and 48-ounce frozen triple berry medley. The FDA said the berries are available at several stores and have a frozen shelf-life of two years. So far, there aren’t any reports of anyone getting sick from the product, but the FDA says consumers should avoid purchasing the Kroger berries.
