Man Who Murdered Grandparents Gets Life In Prison
(Decatur, IL) — A Danville man who murdered his grandparents will spend the rest of his life behind bars. Brian Pruit was first sentenced in 1996, but was resentenced yesterday. The U.S. Supreme Court found in 2012 that juveniles can’t be sentenced to life without parole unless a judge makes specific findings.
