FBI: No Evidence That Scholar Was Christensen’s 13th Victim
(Peoria, IL) — Investigators with the FBI can’t corroborate Brendt Christensen’s claim that he killed 12 people before abducting and murdering a Chinese scholar. An agent testified yesterday at Christensen’s trial that there is no evidence so far that Yingying Zhang was the defendant’s 13th victim. On a recording played for jurors Friday, Christensen tells his then-girlfriend that Zhang was his 13th victim. The agent testified that the claim isn’t “completely impossible.”
