Donations are currently being sought for the Marshall Avenue Christian Church’s annual “Back to School Bash” Saturday, July 27th. The event gives Mattoon students some items on their school supply list and includes a free lunch for attending children and their families.
Items in most need include:
Backpacks, 2-Inch 3-Ring Binders, Crayons, Colored Pencils, Dry Erase Markers, Pink Erasers, 5-Tab Dividers, Folders, Bottles of Glue, Glue Sticks, Highlighters, Index Cards, Markers (8-Count), Markers (10-Count), Loose Leaf Wide Rule Paper, Ink-Pens (Blue or Black), Pencils, Pencil Bag with 3 Holes, Post-It-Notes, Large Scissors, Composition Books.
Cash donations are also greatly appreciated and will be used to purchase additional school supplies.

Donations must be received by Tuesday, July 23rd. Please call the church at 234-2519 and leave a message if you would a donation box at your business, or to make a monetary donation to purchase supplies. The church can also be contacted on Facebook.
