Several Brands of Fresh Packaged Vegetables are Being Recalled
(Undated) — Several packaged fresh vegetables are being recalled due to bacteria that can causes listeria. Growers Express is voluntarily recalling select products sold under the brands Green Giant, Trader Joe’s and Signature Farms. The FDA says the recalled products include packaged varieties of butternut squash, cauliflower, zucchini and a butternut squash-based veggie bowl. The products were manufactured at a production facility in Maine and have a “best if used by” date of June 26th through June 29th. The FDA is urging consumers to throw away the food and not to consume it.
