UPDATED: Jim Beam Warehouse Fire Destroys Thousands Of Barrels Of Bourbon
(Woodford County, KY) — Over 40-thousand barrels of bourbon went up in flames in Kentucky after an overnight fire destroyed a Jim Beam warehouse. The fire that started before midnight spread from one building to another at the facility in Woodford County, about an hour east of Louisville. Emergency officials says the fire was so hot that it burned the plastic lights on their response trucks. They are going to let the fire burn itself out. There were no injuries.

(Woodford County, KY) — Firefighters are battling a massive fire at a Jim Beam distillery in Kentucky. The fire that started before midnight spread from one warehouse to another at the distillery in Woodfod County, about an hour east of Louisville. Local media report crews have put out the fire in one warehouse and 45-thousand barrels of bourbon are in the warehouse that’s still burning. Fire officials say firefighters might not get the fire put out until tonight.
