A Paris man was killed in a crash on East Terre Haute Road this morning. According to the Illinois State Police, a tractor-trailer driven by 24-year-old Brett Bell of Paris, left the roadway, and overturned on its passenger side. The passenger, 24-year-old Garrett Woltman, also of Paris, died on scene. Bell was charged for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, improper lane usage, improper operation of a motor vehicle (no commercial driver’s license), and failure to wear a seat belt.
