Plane Makes Emergency Landing
(Macon County, IL) — Officials say a small plane made an emergency landing in Macon County. The plane landed yesterday morning on McDonald Road, south of Hogan Road. Authorities say the pilot and a friend took off from the Decatur airport then had to land about a half hour later after the plane started sputtering. The plane came to rest in a ditch because not all landing gear deployed. The pilot and the passenger weren’t hurt.
