Closing Arguments Set For Christensen Sentencing

(Peoria, IL) — Closing arguments begin today in the sentencing phase of the Brendt Christenen trial. Last month, the same jury convicted Christensen of the kidnapping and murder of Yingying Zhang. After closing arguments conclude, the jury will decide if he will get the death penalty or life in prison without parole. Jurors will have to reach a unanimous decision for the death penalty.
