Police Investigation Near Warrensburg May Be Tied To Woman’s Disappearance
(Macon County, IL) — A Florida newspaper is reporting that a police investigation near Warrensburg, IL may be tied to a Florida woman’s disappearance. The report has not been confirmed by the police, but says the investigation may relate to the disappearance of Pamela June Ray. Ray’s sister and Mark Riebe’s daughter have told officials they believe Riebe is responsible for Pamela’s death. Riebe’s daughter says her father moved the family from Florida to Warrensburg abruptly in the early 90s in two U-Haul trucks that contained trash bags the children were told not to go near. The woman told police that after the family arrived in Warrensburg, her father told the children to dig holes for the garbage bags. Police have only confirmed they are helping in an out-of-state investigation.
