Man Charged With Attempted First-Degree Murder After Shooting

(Taylorville, IL) — A Taylorville man is facing attempted first-degree murder charges after a shooting. Nathan Howell is accused of shooting two people Tuesday near a home in the 12-hundred-block of East Road in Christian County. Howell appeared in court yesterday by video and was assigned a public defender. Both victims were taken to the hospital in unknown condition.
